Privacy Policy

The Short Version

QBox NFC Tagger does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party services. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.

Bluetooth

QBox NFC Tagger uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to communicate with an external NFC reader/writer device (Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32-C3 + PN532). Bluetooth is used solely to:

No Bluetooth data is recorded, transmitted to external servers, or shared with third parties. The app does not track or log which devices you connect to.

NFC Tag Data

The app reads and writes data to NFC tags placed on the external reader/writer. This data consists of filament information (material type, color, and manufacturer codes) stored on the physical MIFARE Classic 1K tag. Tag data is displayed on-screen and is not transmitted, logged, or stored beyond the current session.

Data Storage

The only data persisted on your device is your preference settings (continuous read/write mode toggles and demo mode state). These are stored locally using standard iOS mechanisms and are never transmitted off your device.

What QBox NFC Tagger Does Not Do

Children

QBox NFC Tagger does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
